Kerala, a state on India’s tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It’s known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals. Inland are the Western Ghats, mountains whose slopes support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as wildlife. National parks like Eravikulam and Periyar, plus Wayanad and other sanctuaries, are home to elephants, langur monkeys and tigers.

The package cost includes

Day 01

Kochi Airport

Meet and assist on arrival at the Kochi Airport by the Rose & Rooh representative team

  • Your escort will take you to the Kochi hotel, post which your guide will take you for Kochi sightseeing.
    – You will get an opportunity to visit Fort Kochi and Mattancherry island,
    which consists of Jewish Synagogue.
  • After a long insightful experience at Kochi your guide will take you to the hotel
  • You can go for shopping post the sightseeing.
    Overnight at Kochi.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Mattancherry Palace – is a Dutch Palace, is a historic landmark in Kochi, India. The palace is known for its stunning Kerala-style architecture with colonial influences. It houses a remarkable collection of murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata, along with royal artifacts, portraits, and weapons of the Kochi rulers.

Day 02

Explore Munnar

  • After breakfast at the Kochi hotel, your escort will give you a ride to Munnar
  • Enroute to Munnar you will get an opportunity to visit Abhayaranyam, an animal shelter especially for elephants which functions under eco-tourism project
  • After an exciting visit at rehabilitation centre for elephants you will head to the hotel in Munnar
  • Overnight in Munnar.

Day 03

Munnar sightseeing

  • After the breakfast at the Munnar hotel you will be sightseeing in Munnar including Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum.
  • Later visit Mattupetty Dam, Eco Point and Flower Garden.
  • Overnight at the Munnar hotel.

Day 04

Trip to Munnar - Thekkedy

  • After the breakfast in the Munnar hotel, you will check out and head to Thekkedy
  • As soon as you reach the destination you will be checking in to the hotel and head for sightseeing.
  • Your guide will take you to see high ranges of the Western Ghats in Kerala. You will explore the natural beauty of Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve.
  • Periyar also has a wildlife sanctuary which has picturesque lake at the heart of the sanctuary.
  • You can also enjoy the boat ride on the lake to view the wildlife at close quarters.
  • If you have spare time, your guide will be open to give you the spice plantation tour.
  • Overnight at the hotel in Thekkedy

Day 05

Trip from Thekkedy to Kumarakom

  • After breakfast at the hotel in Thekkedy you will be heading to Kumarakom.
  • You will check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring your beautiful resort/hotel at Kumarakom.
  • You will have free time to shop at the nearby malls and stalls.
  • Overnight at Kumarakom.

Kumarakom is a serene village in Kerala, India, known for its picturesque backwaters, lush greenery, and vibrant bird sanctuary. Located on the banks of Vembanad Lake, it offers houseboat cruises, rich biodiversity, and traditional Kerala hospitality.

Day 06

Kumarakom sightseeing

  • After a healthy and nourishing breakfast, you will be travelling to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.
  • Most of the good 3 – 4-star hotels will have good and high-end Spa and Ayurvedic treatment facilities which can be explored. (cost not included)
  • Overnight stay at Kumarakom

Day 07

Trip from Kumarakom to Alleppey

  • After a healthy and nourishing breakfast, you will be checking out of the hotel and head to Alleppey.
  • After the arrival, you will be checking-in at the houseboat in backwaters of Kerala.
  • Spend the rest of the day cruising through beautiful backwaters.
  • Overnight stay at the Alleppey houseboat.

Alleppey is a charming emerald peninsula jutting into the picturesque Vembanad Lake dotted with innumerable traditional country rafts, boats and canoes. The fresh water of the lake flows into the mainland, making a labyrinth of lagoons, canals and waterways.

Day 08

Back to Kochi Airport

  • After your breakfast at the houseboat, you will be heading to the Kochi airport.
